Want to find an easy way to take part of Banned Books Week on a national level?  Help celebrate Banned Books by uploading a YouTube video of you or your patrons reading a banned book!

Participants honoring the freedom to read from September 21 to October 1 are encouraged to take part in BBW’s Virtual Read-Out on YouTube.  The criteria are simple: make a video that’s less than two minutes of anyone reading a book that’s been banned.  If you choose to share a personal experience battling censorship, the clip can go to three minutes.  Click here for instructions on how to upload videos.

Need help choosing a book to read?  The American Library Association’s list of frequently challenged or banned books can be found at Banned and/or Challenged Books.
