After a parent complaint about a controversial book, school officials at Hardin Valley Academy have decided to keep the book in the curriculum.
In August, parent Sam Lee asked the school to remove “Robopocalypse” from the required reading list for “inappropriate language”, saying he was upset that his son was being forced to read the book.
School officials assembled a seven-person committee to review the book. The committee consisted of four educators, two parents and a STEM academy student.
